The One That Got Away Hey Mercedes are one of those bands that a lot of powerpop/pop punk bands put in their "influences" list on their MySpace page. Though they never got major mainstream exposure, I'd file them under "cult-hit". They disbanded in 2005 but recently played a reunion show at the Threadless grand opening in Chicago.
