8-bit Rock I gotta say these guys are like nothing I've ever heard before, maybe even creating a whole new sub-genre of punk or rock. Instead of naming other bands, Karate High School gets their inspiration from "old school videogames" like Contra, Super Mario Brothers, Millipede, Tron, and Paperboy. From the cover of their CD, to the sounds produced in their songs, KHS screams Nintendo and Atari. It's pretty hard to describe their sound without having you listen.
