Unheard Epic North Atlantic Explorers should be named 2005's "Why didn't you ever tell me about this awesome band" band. In a way they remind me a lot of Angels and Airwaves - They have an ambitious and epic album; They have tracks with the 1950's Nasa-esqu voiceover; And finally, they both employ the space theme. In contrast, NEA's music is much more mellow and down-tempo. "Skylines" features instruments from xylophones to banjos, an ensemble cast of 15 artists, and music that sounds like you're awake in a dream.
