Utensil Rock A few people requested this band, so here you go: Spoon. These guys have been around since 1992, but I'm guessing many people just discovered them through the O.C. Regardless of when you first heard of this band, I think it's safe to say that we can all agree their music is contagious. Their name also reminds me of "The Tick," who was that superhero in the blue get-up that always yelled out "SPOON!" I never really knew what the deal with that was. All I know is that if some giant guy dressed in a blue tick outfit charged at me yelling "Spoon," I'd get the hell out of the way.
