The Mutha-Effin' Rippers Now two Dave-os bands in a row? Today I'm filling in for Mattias who is in Madagascar right now attempting to save the endangered Black Lemur. He should be back on Saturday to feature another one of his fine bands. On to today's band, The Horrors. Before being requested, I had never heard of these guys before, but I'm ecstatic that I know them now. They've got their own unique style of garage punk that's heavy on the bass and half the fat. Just listen to their latest single "Count In Fives", which reinforces how hard these guys can rock.
