This band was actually requested 11 months ago.... better late than never non? They were initially brought to my attention because they made headlines (or news blurbs rather) in 2005 when Dante DeCaro left Hot Hot Heat to join up with them. Isaac Brock of Modest Mouse sort of took these guys under his wing getting them signed to Sup Pop, and producing their debut so there was a lot of hype surround them at the beginning; hype or no hype, they're one of the better indie bands to come out of Canada, and "Apologies to the Queen Mary" is full of catchy quirky dancy pop.
