What's the deal with this site?
It's a simple premise: everyday there's a new band featured. Some you may know, some you may not. Some you may like, some you wont. There are a lot of new bands that we feature too, so its a good way to discover some new music.

What's the deal with these band cards?
This was our creative way of presenting bands daily. Basically all you have to do is click on them - the rest is pretty self-explanatory. Make sure you have a flash player. If you don't, you can download the Standalone version. These cards include basic information and three music clips that you can listen to. Collect 'em, trade 'em, do whatever you want with 'em.

When do you guys update?
We aim to update every night at 12:00am Pacific Time.

How can I get my band on Band of the Day?
We love listening to new music, so feel free to drop us a line at info@bandoftheday.com and tell us about your band. We'll need to listen to your music first, read your bio etc.

How can I check if a specific band has been featured before?
In the address bar of your web browser, just type www.bandoftheday.com/BANDNAME (Notice how there are no spaces or underscores). If nothing shows up, then fire off that request. Ain't nothin' to it; a baby could do it.
